Helaina is reimagining what nutrition can do for human health. Our flagship product, effera®, is a recombinant human lactoferrin — a bioactive protein that, until now, could not be produced at scale. We sell effera® B2B into the adult nutrition and nutraceutical markets and are scaling a commercial organization to bring it to the world.
As we grow, we are building a commercial bench from the ground up. This role is the entry point onto that team — a chance to learn the business of ingredient sales and marketing from the inside and grow into a customer-facing business development career.
About the RoleThe Commercial Coordinator keeps our sales and marketing engine running. This is a hands-on entry-level role: you will own the behind-the-scenes work that lets our business development and marketing teams move fast — organizing our CRM, preparing sales materials, coordinating samples and follow-ups, supporting events and campaigns, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
It is also a deliberate development role. You will sit close to the deal cycle and the market, learning how effera® is positioned, how customers buy, and how a commercial team operates. With strong performance, mentorship, and structured on-the-job training, this position is built to grow into a Business Development Manager role over time.
