Help Us Scale AI for Developers

As Commercial Counsel you’ll be a foundational legal partner supporting our go-to-market motion and helping scale our commercial legal infrastructure as the company grows. We’re looking for a Commercial Counsel who sees legal as a growth engine!

 
What You’ll Own
 
Close Deals
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, with a primary focus on GTM/Sales transactions including enterprise customer contracts, MSA’s, Service agreements, security

  • Partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Customer Success, and Partnerships to accelerate deal execution and revenue growth

  • Shorten procurement cycles without compromising smart risk boundaries

  • Support expansions, renewals, and strategic customer negotiations

  • Structure AI-related risk allocation clearly and practically

Build the Commercial Engine
  • Create scalable templates and fallback positions

  • Identify patterns in redlines and proactively refine contract strategy

  • Design approval workflows that match our sales velocity

  • Track and improve legal-related deal metrics

  • Partner on audits and diligence requests

  • Stay current on legal developments affecting AI technologies

 
What We’re Looking For
  • A law degree from an accredited law school

  • 4+ years of SaaS commercial contracting experience

  • Transactional background, including with SaaS, technology, and/or IP licensing and commercial agreements, and/or M&A transactions

  • Strong enterprise negotiation experience

  • High business judgment — you know when to push and when to flex

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and high-growth environments

Bonus points:

  • Experience at a high-growth SaaS or AI company

  • Familiarity with enterprise security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)

  • Experience supporting international sales

  • Risk is calibrated, not avoided

Compensation is based on experience USD $200k-$260K plus equity.
