This is a driving position. A valid U.S. Driver’s License required; applicants must pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) screening.

Salary Range: $140,000-$175,000 plus incentives

Position Summary

The Commercial Director is responsible for leading the commercial execution strategy and business performance across an assigned region. This role serves as a key member of the Regional Leadership Team, partnering closely with the Regional VP/GM to execute strategic priorities, drive profitable growth, and ensure best-in-class execution throughout the market.

The Commercial Director provides leadership across commercial operations, distributor execution, field sales performance, business development, retail execution, and cross-functional alignment. This individual ensures the region consistently delivers against revenue, distribution, market share, execution, and profitability objectives while developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities
  • Commercial Leadership
      • Partner with the Regional VP/GM to develop and execute the region's commercial strategy.
      • Translate national initiatives into regional execution plans.
      • Lead commercial planning to achieve revenue, volume, profitability, and market share objectives.
      • Identify growth opportunities across channels, customers, and distributors.
      • Ensure flawless execution of company priorities and annual operating plans.
      • Drive accountability for regional business performance.
  • Business Performance
      • Own the region's commercial performance by monitoring and improving:
      • Sales growth
      • Distribution gains
      • Velocity  
      • Market share
      • Promotional effectiveness
      • Execution KPIs
      • Customer profitability
      • Budget adherence
      • Utilize data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities while implementing corrective actions as needed.

      • Partner with distributor leadership and key regional customers to:
      • Improve execution quality
      • Maximize distribution opportunities

      • Serve as the commercial leader connecting regional execution with corporate functions, including:

Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience within the CPG, beverage, food, or consumer goods industry
  • Multi-unit or regional sales leadership experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Distributor management experience
  • Experience developing high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of retail execution and field sales operations

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience. Celsius is a total rewards company.  This position may be eligible for other compensation, including bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (subject to company plans).
