The Opportunity

As a Commercial Electrical Project Manager, you'll be a key player supporting large-scale commercial construction projects. You'll work closely with contractors, manufacturers, and our outside sales team to help drive projects from bid stage through completion.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with commercial electrical contractors and outside sales representatives on active projects
  • Develop project quotations, pricing, and material takeoffs
  • Coordinate projects from bid phase through delivery and closeout
  • Manage timelines, material orders, lead times, and job site requirements
  • Review plans, specifications, and project documents to ensure accurate product selection
  • Prepare submittals, cut sheets, and project documentation
  • Communicate proactively with customers, manufacturers, and internal teams
  • Solve project challenges, delivery issues, and material shortages quickly and effectively
  • Maintain accurate project records and customer communications
  • Continuously expand your electrical product knowledge and industry expertise

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales, commercial electrical sales, project coordination, electrical distribution, construction management, or a related field 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, electrical plans, and specifications
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
