As a Commercial and Investment Bank Corporate Sales Associate within the Local Markets Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in growing our China-headquartered corporate client portfolio. You will leverage your market knowledge and analytical skills to deliver FX, rates, and investment solutions, while collaborating with business partners to enhance our market presence. In this role, you will help drive revenue growth and contribute to the overall success of the team.

As a Commercial and Investment Bank Corporate Sales Associate within the Local Markets Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in growing our China-headquartered corporate client portfolio. You will leverage your market knowledge and analytical skills to deliver FX, rates, and investment solutions, while collaborating with business partners to enhance our market presence. In this role, you will help drive revenue growth and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with China-headquartered corporate clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions across FX, rates, and investment products.
- Originate and execute transactions, including spot, forwards, options, swaps, rates derivatives and structured solutions.
- Work closely with internal business stakeholders (HQ sales, banking, trading, and structuring) to deliver best-in-class service and solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth within the client portfolio.
- Provide market updates, product education, and strategic advice to clients, ensuring they are informed of relevant market developments and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support senior team members in client pitches, presentations, and deal execution for the team as required
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate sales, preferably covering China-headquartered clients
- Strong product knowledge in FX, rates, and investment solutions.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships with Chinese corporates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) required to conduct negotiations, deliver market updates and engage clients based in China.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
