About the role:

We’re seeking a coordinator who is passionate about cinema to work in our US Communications team. The role is based in New York, and will work closely with the US Marketing and Distribution teams, as well as the Global and UK Communications teams based in London, New York and Los Angeles. MUBI’s Communications team is responsible for global corporate and consumer communications, film, platform and brand publicity, talent management and awards.

Where you'll have impact:
  • Assist the US Communications team with US campaigns for MUBI Releases, including press junkets, US festival logistics, premieres, and special events and screenings

  • Work closely with distribution and marketing teams to brainstorm campaign ideas for MUBI Releases

  • Collaborate with marketing team on monthly content priorities to generate ideas to create coverage and social conversation

  • Develop MUBI Release press kits with creative team

  • Manage US press enquiries and route appropriately

  • Book travel logistics and maintain

  • schedules for talent

  • Process invoices and maintain release budgets

  • Press coverage tracking and reporting

  • Manage physical press screenings

  • Send and track screener links

  • Assist with US awards campaigns

What you'll bring:
  • Passionate about specialty films

  • Enjoys working both independently on projects and with a team

  • Stays calm under pressure

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Agile and thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Impeccable attention to detail

  • 1-2 years experience as a communications assistant or coordinator

  • Experience in film or entertainment desirable, either agency-side or in-house

  • Working knowledge of software such as Google Docs, Sheets and Slides

  • Fluent in English. Additional languages are a bonus
