Who we are
Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.
Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.
The Brand Creative Team develops the narratives and visuals that define how the world understands Samsara. We bring ideas to life through film, design, photography, motion, and digital experiences, and play a central role in shaping and expressing the brand across the company. Within Brand Creative, the Communications Design team specializes in high-stakes presentation design and visual storytelling. We own the design and visual narrative for executive-level and company-defining presentations, creating clear, strategic storytelling that drives business impact. Strategy, craft, and collaboration guide everything we do.
We're looking for a Communications Designer who excels at distilling complexity, shaping narratives, and designing presentations that move audiences. You'll contribute to high-visibility projects such as keynotes, product storytelling, sales enablement, and flagship internal and external events in close partnership with Product Marketing, Executive Communications, Events, Sales, R&D, and leaders across the organization.
Our work is seen by customers, investors, executives, and thousands of employees. This is a role for someone ready to help define what world-class communications design looks like at Samsara.
This is a hybrid position requiring regular in-office collaboration in our San Francisco, CA office. For exceptional talent we would also consider remote talent. This role requires travel for onsite event support 2–4 times per year.
