We’re looking for a Communications and Marketing Intern to join our team this summer. In this role, you’ll contribute to how Mark43 shows up, both internally and externally, by crafting compelling corporate messaging, content, and supporting our social media channels. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Design to bring strategic campaigns and storytelling to life. This is an opportunity to take ownership, contribute meaningfully, and see your work make an impact.
This internship runs from June 9, 2026, through August 14, 2026. We are primarily seeking students graduating in Spring or Summer 2027. NYC-based candidates are preferred, with at least 1-day per week in the office.
What You’ll Do
- Reporting into our Communications Manager, you will support and contribute to key Communications initiatives, including press releases, customer case studies, blog content, and campaigns.
- Help manage Mark43’s social media presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, X and Instagram. Plan social campaigns, content calendars, draft posts, and identify new opportunities or trends to grow engagement.
- Partner closely with our Art Director to brainstorm and develop compelling social graphics, animations, and video content that bring our brand to life.
- Champion customer storytelling by identifying new ways to highlight agency partners, elevate impact stories, and translate real-world outcomes into engaging content.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing and Growth Marketing to support product messaging, and field initiatives.
- Contribute to agency workflows with our PR and Design partners.
- Research industry trends and audience insights to continuously evolve our messaging and content strategy.
- Track and analyze social performance metrics and recommend creative approaches that support growth and business goals.
- Develop hands-on experience with tools such as Sprout Social, WordPress, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
What You’ll Need
- Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong instinct for tone and storytelling.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with the confidence to take ownership and run with ideas.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, X and Instagram, along with an understanding of SaaS/technology content trends and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency using and leveraging AI platforms like ChatGPT and Copilot.
- Interest in B2B marketing, software, or the technology industry.
- Junior-level design experience, particularly with Adobe Creative Suite, is a plus.
