At Trove, we’re building the future of collectibles — where culture, community, creators, and commerce collide. We’re looking for our first in-house content creator and community manager to join us at the ground floor. This role isn’t about posting content. It’s about storytelling, shaping energy, and building real connection with the collector community.
You don’t need experience in collectibles — but you do need to care about culture, internet communities, and what people are genuinely passionate about. The right person is creative, curious, adaptable, and able to execute with clarity and speed.
You’ll work closely with the founding team to build our community and online presence from scratch. Your job: turn early signals into momentum and create the systems that help our content and community scale as Trove grows.
On any given week, you will:
Create and ship content across social and community channels, testing ideas and iterating based on data, trends, and engagement
Be on the front lines: start conversations, answer questions, and define how Trove interacts with users
Support launches, drops, and key moments across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and the platforms we choose to invest in
Listen closely to what the community is saying (or not saying) and translate that into clear, actionable insights
Explore new platforms, formats, and ways to engage — then double down on what works
Collaborate with creators, partners, and early advocates to amplify their content and reach
Build light, simple structure so content and community can scale without slowing us down
You have experience and success in these areas:
Created content for social platforms or communities and learned by tracking, analyzing, and understanding what performed
Spent real time inside online communities (Discords, fandoms, niche Twitter, creator ecosystems) and understand tone, norms, and unwritten rules
Written in a clear, conversational, human voice aligned with brand and growth goals
Managed or moderated a community, account, or audience — even informally — and can speak to your learnings, mistakes, and wins
Worked on a small team where you figured things out without much process or direction
Understood engagement signals, not just vanity metrics
Followed creators, trends, and internet culture closely and can articulate why something takes off
Taken ownership of projects and seen them through even when the path wasn’t obvious
What success looks like:
Trove has a strategic, scalable execution plan that integrates owned content and partner channels
Your work lives in the open: accessible, clear, and easily understood by the team
Content feels native to each platform — never overly polished or manufactured
Our community feels active, welcoming, trusted, and worth returning to
People engage, respond, and participate without being prompted
Community feedback meaningfully informs product, growth, and launch decisions
Creators and early users want to engage with us and share Trove organically
Simple, repeatable systems exist for content and community
As the company scales, the community scales with it without losing personality or energy
Organic content efforts show learnings, traction, and growth
Please don't apply if:
You need a highly structured role with step-by-step instructions
You prefer to stay behind the scenes instead of engaging publicly with users
You’re not comfortable experimenting, iterating, and occasionally getting it wrong
You expect a big brand, large team, or polished processes on day one
You see community or content as a side task instead of core to the product
You’re not interested in learning quickly and taking ownership early in your career
A little bit about us:
We’re building a new kind of collectibles company from the ground up. Trove lets you buy and open packs digitally, then choose to keep, sell, or physically redeem cards. We’re just getting started but our team is led by proven entrepreneurs with multiple exits and has raised capital from top tier investors.
We know that putting together a talented, passionate group of people is the most important part of building a business. Our bar is high and our results are exceptional. This is an environment where you’ll feel challenged, grow beyond what you’ve done before, and visibly see how your work impacts the business. Our job is to give you what you need and get out of your way.
Beyond that, we offer highly competitive comp, free health insurance, flexible time off, and meaningful equity so you’ll share in the company’s success. The team is headquartered in NYC and hiring for flexible in-person work.
