Role Overview: 

We are a dynamic and growing company in the luxury travel industry, dedicated to creating a unique host agency experience. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a passionate and driven Community Manager who will report to the VP, Member Engagement to help build, engage, and inspire our community both virtually and in-person. The Community Manager will play a key role in supporting and maintaining a vibrant, positive, and active community of independent business owners, travelers, and agency partners. Your ability to generate enthusiasm, foster relationships, and develop innovative recognition ideas will be essential to our success. You will work across various channels, including social media, live events, and online forums, to ensure our community stays engaged and inspired.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Community Engagement: Nurture and maintain strong relationships with community members both online and offline, responding to inquiries, engaging in conversations, and ensuring that our brand message resonates. 
  • Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute both virtual and in-person events, meet-ups, and experiences that drive engagement and build a sense of belonging.  
  • Community: Be a brand ambassador, offering support, inspiration, and guidance to keep members motivated, excited, and engaged. 
  • Travel Coordination: Be willing and able to travel to attend and host events as necessary. 
  • Meticulous Record Keeping: Track engagement metrics, program success, and community feedback in tools such as HubSpot, Smartsheets, and Excel. Regularly report on community health and impact. 
  • Program Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of community-driven initiatives and campaigns to increase engagement and strengthen relationships. 
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and the ability to use data to drive engagement 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 4-5 years of experience in community management, event planning, or similar roles, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry. 
  • The ability to build meaningful connections with people both in-person and online. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HubSpot, Excel, Smartsheets, and social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.). Familiarity with photography and content creation tools is highly desirable. 
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and keep detailed records in an organized manner. 
  • This role requires business-related travel. Must be willing and able to travel for events, meet-ups, and community activities. 
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse audience. 
  • Experience with CRM tools, HubSpot is preferred. 
  • Previous experience in the travel industry or hospitality is an asset. 
  • Experience with photography and creating engaging visual content is an asset.
