This role partners closely with Product, Distribution, and Corporate Strategy to deliver perspectives that are actionable and impactful. Senior Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
- Contribute to leadership discussions with clear, well-supported perspectives
- Communicate findings in a way that builds trust and advances discussion
- Build strong relationships across Product, Distribution, and Corporate Strategy
Function Leadership & Integration
- Partner with Market and Consumer Insights to connect competitive, market, and customer dynamics
- Help evolve Competitive Insights capabilities, including publications, frameworks, and engagement models
- Mentor junior team members and rotational analysts
Data & Analytical Foundation
- Leverage industry data sources such as LIMRA, AM Best, S&P, and internal datasets
- Ensure analytical rigor supports all narratives and recommendations
- Collaborate with partners to maintain access to key data and insights
Strategic Partnership Enablement
- Build and maintain competitive profiles of key accounts and strategic partners
- Identify areas of strategic alignment for prospective partnerships
- Prepare briefing content and coordinate interactions with external parties
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of relevant experience in corporate or business strategy, insights, market research, equity research, or consulting
Ideal Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant experience; background in insurance, financial services, or advising financial services clients is a plus
- Graduate degree or professional designation relevant to the role
- Proven ability to turn complex, ambiguous analysis into a clear point of view and a narrative that lands with senior executives
- Demonstrated ability to introduce additional perspectives and help shape discussions constructively
- Working knowledge of life insurance, annuity, or retirement products; willingness to build depth quickly
- Familiarity with industry data sources (e.g., LIMRA, AM Best, S&P) and reporting practices
- Strong analytical skills combined with sound business judgment: ability to synthesize disparate inputs into coherent perspectives and identify implications for strategy
- Strong ownership mentality with the ability to operate independently and to drive high-impact workstreams
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams
- Prior experience mentoring or developing junior team members
