Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Commercial, this role is responsible tracking and analyzing relevant industry trends across research, development and commercialization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track industry trends and competitor performance
- Review, aggregate, analyze and monitor pharmaceutical development databases and market research reports
- Build and maintain an intelligence database
- Generate ad-hoc reports, presentations and data visualizations synthesizing the competitive landscape
Requirements:
- At least two years of direct biopharma, biopharma consulting or biopharma investing experience
- Bachelor’s degree required – Biology or Neuroscience preferred
- Familiarity with the major scientific and medical aspects of drug development
- Strong scientific and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience writing research reports and delivering presentations that integrate multiple data sources
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
Work Environment:
- Hybrid-based; NYC area
- Dynamic, interactive, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment
- Domestic or international travel is required (10-20%)
Compensation is based on a number of factors, including market location, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits, including unlimited paid time off and parental leave.
