At Kornerstone, we believe great work starts with how we treat people, whether it’s the customers who count on our protection, the lenders who trust our word, or the teammate sitting down the hall. It’s a value we share with Ken Garff, and it shapes everything we do, including compliance.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Manager to keep our contracts, licenses, and regulatory filings accurate, current, and in good standing. You’ll be the central point of contact for state regulators and lender requirements, and you’ll work closely with our Product Development team to bring new offerings to market the right way. This is a full-time, in-office position.

What You’ll Do

·       Contract Management: Create, maintain, file, retrieve, and update Kornerstone documents and contracts to ensure compliance with state regulators and legal requirements.

·       Product Collaboration: Partner with the Kornerstone Product Development (KPD) team to create or modify agreements that meet the needs of Kornerstone clients.

·       New Form Offerings: Coordinate the full lifecycle of new forms, including development, approvals, and CAS integration.

·       Regulatory Responses: Serve as Kornerstone’s point of contact for state regulatory inquiries. Investigate consumer complaints, gather supporting documentation, and draft clear, accurate, and timely legal responses to state departments, ensuring every response reflects company policy and applicable regulations.

·       Licensing: Oversee Kornerstone’s state licensing portfolio, including special product licenses. Track renewal deadlines, prepare and submit filings, and maintain organized, audit-ready records so the company remains in good standing in every state where it operates.

What We’re Looking For

·       Experience in the automotive, insurance, or financial services industry is a plus

·       Strong understanding of state regulatory and licensing processes

·       Excellent written communication skills, especially for formal and legal correspondence

·       Exceptional organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

·       Comfort working cross-functionally with internal teams, lenders, and regulators

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office
