What You’ll Be DoingGovernance & Compliance that Actually Makes SenseLead the buildout of AI and enterprise data governance frameworks that prioritize clarity, accountability, and industry-aligned policies.
Create data-sharing rules, privacy guardrails, and metadata standards that make data smarter, safer, and more actionable.
Partner with cross-functional data stewards and engineers to clean up murky definitions, usage issues, and ownership questions—before they become problems.
Monitor and audit AI models for bias, explainability, and transparency. (Not just a checklist—we mean actual impact.)
Ensure compliance with frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and NIST AI RMF across AI projects, big and small.
Collaborate with architects and project leads to embed ethical decision-making into every stage of AI development.
Act as the bridge between IT, business, legal, and AI teams—breaking down risk and policy into practical steps and roadmaps.
Create visually compelling reports and dashboards to track performance, compliance, and what’s working (and what’s not).
Facilitate governance conversations that feel like strategy—not red tape.
Set meaningful KPIs and performance metrics for governance adoption, AI health, and continuous improvement.
Lead regular audits, pulse checks, and risk reviews to keep governance aligned with company goals and future-proof strategy.
Turn data into stories: clear, actionable, and trusted by leadership.
2+ years of experience in data governance, compliance, enterprise data management, or AI risk.
You’ve built governance frameworks from scratch or helped mature them in complex, regulated organizations.
You can speak both languages: policy + tech, ethics + execution.
Deep familiarity with AI ethics, bias mitigation, model explainability, and risk auditing.
Strong understanding of data stewardship, metadata management, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Clear communicator with an eye for detail—you make complex decisions easy to follow and easier to trust.
You take pride in quality, and you genuinely care about how tech impacts real people.
IAPP AIGP Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Experience working in AI-heavy sectors such as automotive, finance, healthcare, or tech.
Direct experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and enterprise-level ML platforms.
Background in automated computer vision applications.
Familiarity with agile project methodologies, change management frameworks, or human-centered design.
Have advised leadership on AI strategy, ethical risks, or tech readiness.
Have used AI tools like Zapier, LLMs , etc for process automation.
Understand how to build a governance maturity model that scales.
Have a background in consulting, product ops, or data strategy
