The Difference You Will Make:

In this role, you will provide specialist API support and act as a subject matter expert for our connectivity operations. Your responsibilities include conducting analysis and technical troubleshooting to solve complex problems, monitoring key metrics, and error logs to optimize performance or for  ensuring timely error resolution. You'll serve as a technical point of contact for both internal and external partners, offering expert insight into Airbnb’s api’s and our partner systems. You’ll support the Connectivity Team and Enterprise Account Team  with projects designed to achieve Airbnb’s commercial goals. You'll also help to create and improve internal knowledge bases and training materials so teams can independently handle API-related questions.

A Typical Day: 

  • Use data to identify strategic opportunities and drive sales growth
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for internal and external systems, including connectivity issues, to proactively mitigate partner impact
  • Develop a deep understanding of technical integrations across Property Management Systems, Channel Managers, and Central Reservation Systems to provide targeted client support
  • Educate clients on product updates and share partner feedback with internal stakeholders
    Implement and oversee effective troubleshooting processes, escalating as needed
  • Identify patterns in data and feedback to improve services and products
  • Research technical information to deepen your understanding and support decision-making
  • Contribute to the development of technical communication materials such as policies, procedures, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with your team to design and manage projects which support the commercial goals of Airbnb and our hotel and connectivity partners.

Your Expertise:

  • 6+ years of experience in a Connectivity Operations, Solutions or Technical Partner Manager role
  • Strong understanding of hospitality/travel software; CRS,PMS, Channel Managers
  • Proficiency in SQL, Sumo Logic, Looker and Excel. 
  • Tableau, Asana, Jira  and Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Solid technical troubleshooting skills and project management experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with confidence in engaging clients across multiple channels with stakeholders at various levels. 
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong quantitative skills with a proven ability to leverage data in decision-making
    Adaptability to shifting priorities, projects, and deadlines
  • Passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy—being an Airbnb host is a plus

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
