About the role 🖥️
Vestiaire Collective is seeking a Consignment Copywriter Associate to optimize the flow of our RaaS and VIP consignments, accelerating time-to-market while maintaining the highest quality standards.
The copywriter is responsible for the quality control and description of each product that is deposited through our consignment service.
The consignment service is dedicated to individuals or professionals who wish to delegate the sale of their items.
The business team is responsible for identifying potential consignment customers and managing the initial deposit of all items. When the box is received, we do everything possible to ensure that the customer sells their items quickly.
Location: Brooklyn, NY (Warehouse Environment)
Working hours: 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
Reporting to: Consignment Manager
What you will do 👜
- Quality Control
- Perform quality control checks on all items and identify the Vestiaire product condition
- Identify items that do not conform to the quality criteria of the catalog and reject the item in physical and electronic form
- If necessary perform light cleaning and care on the item to improve the item quality
- Description
- Write item descriptions in accordance with the appropriate VC & textile wording including details such as composition, defects, measurements
- Inform the photo studio of any details that require special attention during the photo shooting
- Organize the stock of the containers in the areas reserved for this effect and in the respect of the rules of FIFO
- Control of comments
- Review customer feedback
- Make picking requests on all items that require reshoot or amendments to the listing
- Write an answer to each request and update the file
- Make requests for more photos or reshoot of an item when necessary
- Update all necessary information to tracker
- Administrative tasks and polyvalence
- Manage the cohesion between the different flows and ensure that the products are put online
- Checking with the business team regarding any anomalies and rejected items.
- Return of items to sellers
- Supporting other teams and departments to ensure a flow of items through the warehouse.
