Job Description

AECOM Tishman has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Construction Project Manager for our Life Sciences/Hospital construction project in Mid-Town.

  • Provides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies. 
  • Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors. 
  • Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or similar curriculum and 6 years of relevant construction management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirements: 

  • 6 years of progressive construction project management experience.
  • Experience in project documentation such as RFI, RFP, change order management, scheduling, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/diagrams.
  • Experience in high-rise construction.
  • Experience in healthcare/life sciences.
  • Experience in insurance compliance, permit acquisitions/renewals and documentation.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Experience with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification processes.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the New York City area.
  • OSHA certifcation.
