Job Description Summary:

At The Coca-Cola Company, we are a global business that operates on a local scale, in every community where we do business. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, reporting, and managing data to provide key insights for the supply chain of ingredients. You’ll also have procurement and supplier relationship management responsibilities which requires some administrative support on purchase orders, supply ordering and meeting scheduling. We are looking for a candidate with outstanding critical thinking skills who has proven experience in purchasing and can manage complex internal and external relationships.  

What You’ll Do for Us 

  • Collaborates with supply chain management in the plants, managing the communication of Planner/ Buyers and the plants, attending operational meetings and provide support.
  • Investigates Materials At Risk and alerts relevant buyers and plant leadership as needed
  • Participates and occasionally leads packaging optimization or ingredient defect problem solving initiatives.
  • Meet with QA and Production representative and update internal reporting.
  • Follow up on approvals and completion of hard allocation requests and “material to material” conversion requests.
  • Attends supply risks, supplier changes or supply point changes with a status of critical and missing ingredients.
  • Collaborates with Buyers and planning team members in the execution of various cost savings initiatives.
  • Executes periodic supplier relationship and internal meeting activities to improve service to the production team.
  • Manage standard plant reporting that includes purchase orders, ingredient availability, invoicing, component availability and stock reports.

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Associates degree in Business, Finance or related field is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience of procurement, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, data analytics, and/or data management experience.
  • Exceptional business communication skills, including negotiations.
  • Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and standards (e.g., best practices, policies) for one or more supplier industries. Ability to provide guidance to suppliers for cost improvements and to incorporate new technologies. 
  • Knowledge of products, commodities or services (e.g., ingredients, packaging, logistics services, Coca-Cola products and services) and their related industries. Knowledge of all primary and supporting industries that impact the supply chain. Ability to research markets and synthesize findings for application in decision-making process and analytical work. 
  • Making customers (external and internal) and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships; creating and executing plans and solutions in collaboration with the customer. 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Pay Range:

$85,300 - $101,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
