C&W’s consulting organization helps clients transform their real estate portfolios and drive business outcomes. The Total Workplace team is an organization of creative, strategic, and intuitive thinkers who collaborate on some of the firm’s most dynamic client engagements to support business transformation.
The Consulting Director, Total Workplace role is charged with the business development, brokerage support and growth of Cushman & Wakefield’s consulting efforts from Strategy development through Change execution. The Director will work with regional leadership and subject matter experts to support the delivery of cross-platform services for our existing and new customers. You will guide organizations through their workplace and change strategy by understanding the client’s industry and recognizing key performance drivers from a people perspective. You will help clients maximize their benefits and minimize their risks of change by guiding organizations in defining their expected results from a people perspective.

Job Description

  • A recognized and seasoned leader in workplace strategy and corporate real estate strategy with ten to fifteen years’ experience as a corporate real estate strategy consultant or strategic advisor in a related field (eg. human resources, organizational design, and/or business transformation)
  • Business development experience; experience in growing and sustaining key customer relationships
  • Hands-on experience in the development and delivery of value-added solutions, specifically within the fields of Transformation, Change Management and/or Workplace Strategy
  • Ability to work across geographic, functional, and service line boundaries in business development, product/service design and client delivery
  • Excellent written, oral, negotiating and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to represent a global organization to clients, the public, industry leaders, governmental agencies, and social organizations
  • Proven ability to act as a thought leader in the organization, teaming with other disciplines and driving excellence in tool development, client delivery and strategic insights

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for opportunities that develop in within the discipline of Workplace Transformation, Change Management and/or Workplace Strategy.
  • Support and collaborate with the Northeast Region lead and Managing Principals for market-driven business development and client delivery.
  • Develop and evolve innovative service offerings
  • Provide leadership and direction to key customer accounts
  • Demonstrate, directly and through team members, thought leadership to the real estate professional services industry
  • Build a strong execution to ensure the optimal market positioning of resources to strengthen the organization and grow the business
  • Propose and advise on project pricing, staffing, and allocation of resources

JOB REQUIRMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Organizational Design, Finance, Economics, Human Resources or related field
  • Prosci Change Management Certification preferred, not required.

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities and projects
  • Working knowledge in scoping, project management, budget management and staffing projects.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $153,000.00 - $180,000.00
