1stDibs is a one-of-a-kind online marketplace that connects design lovers to more than one million extraordinary pieces, from furniture and fine art to jewelry and fashion. As a leading global marketplace for design lovers, we enable shoppers to discover beautiful things and engage with top sellers from around the world. We encourage our shoppers to interact with sellers throughout all stages of the transaction, including item inquiries, price negotiations and customization requests.

At 1stDibs, we connect design lovers with the world's most extraordinary objects. As our Content Creator, Paid & Organic Media, you will bridge the gap between creative storytelling and data-driven performance. Reporting directly to the Director of Growth and Brand Marketing, you will be the creative engine fueling our Paid Media program while contributing highly engaging video content to our organic social channels.

Partnering closely with the Paid Media team, you will establish a rigorous creative testing roadmap to drive acquisition efficiency and scale our platform footprint. You will own short-form vertical video production from concept to final edit—analyzing performance data to rapidly iterate on what works. To succeed, you must possess a growth-oriented mindset, an innate understanding of social ad platforms (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok), and a sharp eye for visual storytelling.

The Impact You’ll Make
  • End-to-End Content Production: Concept, shoot, and edit high-performing static and short-form video ads for Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and emerging channels.
  • Creative Testing Roadmap: Collaborate with paid media marketers to build, execute, and scale a structured creative testing matrix—experimenting with diverse hooks, treatments, and variants.
  • Performance Measurement & Iteration: Actively review paid media performance data to identify trends, analyze creative wins/losses (tracking metrics like Hook Rate and CTR), and rapidly iterate on winning variants.
  • Trend-Driven Social Content: Stay on the pulse of internet culture, design trends, and pop culture conversations to develop on-trend, organic-leaning video formats (including appearing on-camera for UGC-style content as needed).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with growth marketers, copywriters, and the core Creative team to ensure all performance assets maintain the premium 1stDibs brand integrity.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in digital content creation, video editing, or production, with a portfolio heavily favoring high-performing social ads and vertical video.
  • Advanced short-form video editing skills (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, etc.) with a knack for pacing, text treatments, audio transitions, and capturing attention in the first 3 seconds.
  • A data-informed creative mindset. You are energized by performance data and possess the analytical ability to translate chart metrics into actionable creative revisions.
  • Strong on-camera comfort and the ability to confidently pitch, script, and host content representing the brand.
  • A deep appreciation for the 1stDibs aesthetic, with an affinity for interior design, fine art, jewelry, and vintage fashion.
  • An agile, low-ego approach to feedback, with the ability to execute high-volume asset variations nimbly under tight timelines.
