We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team and power our inbound marketing efforts with strong, thoughtful copy and strategy. In this role, you'll be responsible for executing all copy requests across several departments, including Marketing, Engagement, Sales, and Product. You'll deliver high-quality writing that appeals to our target audiences, attracts customers, and boosts brand awareness. You'll also have a hand in our social media and product positioning content and strategy. You will work closely with our designer to ensure all deliverables meet the Healthee standard.

Responsibilities

  • Write all copy for Marketing, Product, Engagement, and Sales collateral
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to strategize on content approaches and improve our content efforts
  • Create unique thought leadership and help manage relationships with our content and SEO freelancers
  • Work with Product to develop messaging and positioning for new products and features
  • Create brand social media content and execute Healthee's social media strategy
  • Collaborate with our Marketing Designer to ensure all deliverables are up to standard
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in healthcare and benefits, content marketing, SEO, and social media


Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in content marketing and/or copywriting
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • Ability to translate complex topics (like benefits plans and healthcare insurance processes) into simple language
  • Ability to write high-performing ad copy, blog content, emails, landing pages, whitepapers, social media copy, in-app flows, sales collateral, etc.
  • Experience managing social media accounts for a brand, including content creation and community engagement
  • Self-starter attitude (you have excellent project management skills and can handle multiple projects and deadlines)
  • Strategic mindset (you plan ahead and see the bigger picture)
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail (you're a grammar geek through and through)


Nice-to-have

  • Experience writing for all stages of the marketing funnel
  • Experience creating trend-based content on social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
  • Design, video, and photo editing skills
  • Capable of building reports for key content marketing analytics (GA4, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Comfortable working with web CMS
  • Knowledge of the HR, healthcare, or benefits industry
  • Knowledge of SEO and experience writing SEO-driven copy
