Flexforce Content Producer - Magnet Originals
Overview: This is a part-time, project-based role (estimated 15-20 hours per week during production sprints, 5-10 hours during maintenance weeks) responsible for end-to-end execution of Magnet Originals' content strategy.
Core Responsibilities
- Video Production: Shoot, edit, and optimize all video content (LinkedIn videos, YouTube deep-dives, IG Reels)
- Design: Create graphics for LinkedIn carousels, IG feed posts, YouTube thumbnails
- Content Management: Schedule posts across platforms, maintain editorial calendar, track performance metrics
- Optimization: Implement SEO best practices, A/B test thumbnails/headlines, adjust strategy based on analytics
- Asset Organization: Maintain organized library of footage, photos, graphics for easy repurposing
Required Skills
- Video Editing: Proficiency in Premiere Pro or Final Cut (bonus: familiarity with AI editing tools like Descript, Runway)
- Design: Strong Canva and/or Figma skills for social graphics
- Platforms: Deep understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube best practices and algorithms
- Storytelling: Ability to translate business insights into engaging visual narratives
- Project Management: Self-directed, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deadlines
Ideal Background
- 3+ years in social media content production, ideally in entertainment, media, or creator economy
- Portfolio showing range with YouTube videos, IG content and LinkedIn posting
- Experience working with founders/executives (comfortable translating vision to execution)
- Bonus: Familiarity with podcast/documentary production workflows
Compensation: Project-based or hourly, depending on candidate preference (estimated $3,000-4,000/month based on workload)
