Meeting your future team:

  • Reporting to the Bids & Proposals Team Lead, you will collaborate with departments across the company to create accurate, compelling proposals that advance the sales process.
  • You will use your proposal expertise to help Collibra mature its RFx processes and support deals at scale in a high-growth company.
  • You will also help Collibra create and maintain strategic responses by developing content for our RFP library, aligned with new product releases, marketing efforts, and industry changes.
  • Your work will matter—your ideas and talents will transform how Collibra approaches proposals as the company enters a new phase in its rapid growth.


Proposal Managers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Using effective project management and SME engagement to develop compelling, professional, and customized proposals and presentations in response to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Creating project workspaces in proposal automation tools and managing team interactions through these platforms.
  • Using best practices to drive the proposal process and improve win rates.
  • Developing and/or writing proposal content when needed.
  • Leading delegated improvement projects and reporting regular progress to the Team Lead of Bids & Proposals.

Proposal Manager's at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Using effective project management and SME engagement to develop compelling, professional, and customized proposals and presentations in response to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Creating project workspaces in proposal automation tools and managing team interactions through these platforms.
  • Using best practices to drive the proposal process and improve win rates.
  • Developing and/or writing proposal content when needed.
  • Leading delegated improvement projects and reporting regular progress to the Team Lead of Bids & Proposals.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of proposal management experience
  • BA/BS degree
  • Fluency in English
  • 5+ years of proposal management experience at SaaS companies
  • 2+ years of experience on proposals for state and local governments
  • APMP certification or similar (e.g., Shipley)


You Are:

  • Organized, confident, and action-oriented in creating proposal response plans and managing response teams to meet deadlines.
  • A natural communicator who writes clearly and concisely and inspires the confidence of SMEs.
  • Informed and prepared in your proposal work—you know that the diligent, steadfast work of preventing issues is more valuable than responding to emergencies.
  • Business-savvy, knowing how proposals fit in the larger business context and looking for ways to improve process efficiency.
  • Familiar with using proposal automation tools (e.g., Loopio, RFPIO, Qvidian) and the Microsoft Office Suite to create proposals.

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will manage a moderately complex proposal with support from the Team Lead of Bids & Proposals.
  • Within your third month, you will independently manage up to 3 moderately complex proposals simultaneously. You will also provide input on projects to improve Collibra’s proposal processes and RFP content library.
  • Within your sixth month, you will independently manage up to 4 highly complex proposals simultaneously. You will also manage delegated projects to improve Collibra’s RFP content library and expand proposal automation.
