The role: Senior Copywriter, Social

We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter, Social with experience across organic and paid social to help us change the way people buy homes. You will work closely with a team of copywriters and designers in shaping the creative vision, ensuring quality, and elevating our approach to current and future social channels.

  • Pitch campaigns and concepts across our organic and paid social channels 
  • Create timely pieces of branded content to live across a range social platforms
  • Become an expert in the homebuying and homeownership space
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners across the org
  • Act as advocate for other writers and discover opportunities to meet marketing goals in new and novel ways
  • Partner closely with design and strategic leads to concept and execute ideas
  • Respond to feedback provided by internal department heads and external stakeholders

What we’re looking for in a Senior Copywriter, Social

You’re great at discovering novel and inclusive ways to explore, explain, and introduce complex ideas to a diverse audience. You have experience creating and executing concepts, both original pitches and requests from stakeholders, as well as yes-anding critical feedback to make the work even better. 

Ideally, you're the kind of person who can generate and execute on ideas fast. The mortgage industry moves quickly, and we need someone who can keep up with the conversation.

  • You have at least 5 years copywriting experience
  • You have a deep knowledge and mastery of the social media landscape
  • You’re at the expert level in G-suite (bonus if you know your way around Figma)
  • You have a portfolio that shows a range of strong, creatively rich writing 
  • You know how to answer a brief with thought-provoking questions and content 
  • You’re a self-motivated and work fast without sacrificing quality
  • You take criticism in your stride and know when to stand up for your ideas
