Specialist, Content
As a Content Specialist you'll work in a dynamic team of enthusiastic and passionate people to produce SEO optimized content, engaging blog articles and be a part of a new team at SeatGeek with endless potential. You'll utilize your experience in content creation while learning and gaining experience of working in a technology focused company and the event ticketing industry. You'll have ownership over large and small projects.
Reporting to the Director, Marketplace Operations, the Content Specialist will be part of the Marketplace Operations Department, and will be responsible for content creation, content management, blog creation, and aliasing for events, performers and venues on Seatgeek.com.
What you'll do
- Review and update existing content and create new content
- Research and stay up to date with industry related topics, trends and the latest in entertainment culture
- Create original content that is free from plagiarism for our SeatGeek Blog
- Develop reporting and dashboards to define and track measurable KPIs
- Utilize data to identify trends that influence future performance
- Create and refine content strategies with operations and marketing leaders
Who you are
- 2-3 years working in the world of content, including content management systems (CMSs) and SEO optimization
- Able to work daily with tools like Google business tools, Jira, and Slack, so comfort in these tools is a must
- Confident and skilled in HTML
- Detail oriented and a strong communicator with the ability to prioritize and manage work while adhering to timelines
- Voracious and curious learner who isn't afraid to ask questions
- Someone with a collaborative attitude but can work autonomously while welcoming feedback and collaboration
