Meeting your future team:

Joining Collibra’s Technical Writing team:

  • Collibra’s technical writing team is responsible for creating the documentation for all Collibra products.
  • With new features being added to the Collibra products, we are looking to expand our team to assure the quality of our documentation.
  • You will be the main technical writer for some products, but not limited to. 
  • You will be reporting to the Technical Writing Manager.

Technical Writers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Write clear and easy to understand documentation for key users of the Collibra products.
  • Maintain and improve the existing documentation together with your fellow technical writers.
  • Collaborate with product leaders and managers to gather feedback, write release notes and follow up the development status. 
  • Provide input for UI messages and button labels.
  • Dissemination of knowledge in the company.

You Have:

  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in topic-based writing for technical software documentation.
  • You have proven knowledge of the git version control system.

You Are:

  • You are able to quickly consume and process new information.
  • You work accurately and in an organized way.
  • You can work independently but you also have a good team spirit.
  • You are a hands-on writer, you learn by doing.

Measuring Success:

  • Reporting to Collibra’s Technical Writing Manager, the Technical Writer’s measures of success are:

    • Within your first month, you will learn the team’s processes and learn Collibra’s products. 
    • Within your third month, you will collaborate with the team of your key documentation focus area and deliver draft documentation.
    • Within your sixth month, you will publish your documentation.
