A Day in the LifeAs Contract Performance Management Product Owner for Western Europe, you own a holistic solution that integrates process, data and technology to monitor and optimize contract execution. Using new or existing tools, you provide transparency and insights that enable sales teams to track performance & compliance, follow up proactively, and unlock greater customer value.
Your scope will cover Western Europe (WE), and you will report to the Director, WE Contracting Offer & Tender Chief Product Owner. You are expected to work from your local office four days per week.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Product Ownership: Own the vision, technical roadmap, and backlog for a holistic contract performance management solution that integrates process, data and technology. Ensure strong alignment with the Value Stream Management team and oversee end-to-end solution delivery
  • Value Delivery & Business Insight: Ensure the product delivers measurable business value by improving contract transparency, performance & compliance, and follow-up efficiency
  • Understand sales priorities, identify untapped revenue opportunities in contracts, and filter noise to focus on what truly matters. Define precise, actionable requirements and leverage dashboards, analytics, and reporting tools to provide transparency and actionable insights that enable proactive follow-up and unlock greater customer value
  • Adoption & Change Management: Drive adoption across sales and business teams, guiding them through process and technology transitions, embedding new ways of working, and ensuring promised outcomes are realized
  • Prioritization & Problem-Solving: Make trade-off and prioritization decisions, manage dependencies, and resolve risks to maintain delivery momentum. Oversee budget and POD resource allocation
  • Agile Leadership: Lead and coordinate the Agile delivery pod, promoting an agile mindset while ensuring high-quality outcomes and effective collaboration with vendors, process owners, and deployment teams
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Pricing & Contracting Value Stream Management, Functions, Sales, and Finance teams to align business requirements with technology and processes. Contribute to cross-regional product owner communities to share best practices and align on standards

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 5+ years creating dashboards, performing analytics, and generating actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making within contract management, performance management, or business balanced scorecards
  • Strong understanding of contract content and structures, combined with database and analytics skills to turn data into actionable insights. Experienced with reporting and visualization platforms such as SAP BusinessObjects, Power BI, or similar tools, and able to translate business needs into meaningful outputs
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum), including backlog management, writing user stories, and effective feature prioritization, as well as a solid grasp of contract lifecycle processes, compliance requirements, and sales/finance operations
  • Ability to understand sales priorities, identify revenue opportunities, reduce noise, and define clear requirements that maximize value; skilled in using data and insights to enable proactive follow-up and value capture
  • Excellent collaboration, influencing, and communication skills; adept at driving adoption, guiding teams through change, embedding new ways of working, and engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
