Contract Recruiter, GTM and Ops (New York)

We pioneered tabular foundation models: TabPFN v2 was a Nature cover story, has passed 3.5M+ downloads and 7,500+ GitHub stars, and runs in production from detecting lung disease with Oxford Cancer Analytics to preventing train failures with Hitachi. The hardest problems - millions of rows, real-time inference, entirely new modalities - are still open, and no one else is working on them at this level.

We're a small, highly selective team of 40+ with backgrounds from Google, DeepMind, Meta, Apple, Amazon, Jane Street, and CERN, led by Frank Hutter, Noah Hollmann, and Sauraj Gambhir, and advised by Bernhard Schölkopf and Turing Award winner Yann LeCun.

In July 2026, less than 18 months after our €9M pre-seed, we joined SAP as an independent frontier AI lab - same team, mission, and open-weights models, now backed by more than €1 billion over four years.

We're hiring a recruiter to own hiring for the commercial and operational core of Prior Labs in the US. You'll run end-to-end hiring for our go-to-market team (sales and partnerships) and for the operations functions that keep a fast-scaling AI company running effectively. This is a full-stack, hands-on role in a market where every strong seller and every good controller already has three other offers.

• Source commercial and operational talent across the US, from enterprise AE and partnerships profiles to finance and compliance operators

• Position Prior Labs compellingly against better-known AI companies, late-stage SaaS, and fintech where the comp is often bigger and the brand more familiar

• Navigate multi-hub hiring across New York, Berlin, and Freiburg (comp bands, notice periods, US/EU employment differences, occasional relocation and visa work)

• Assess commercial and operational depth quickly to curate high calibre shortlists

• Run efficient, structured interview loops with clear rubrics and fast debriefs

• Manage, negotiate and close offers, including variable comp and equity conversations

• Manage the pipeline operationally in the ATS with clean stages and weekly metrics

• 5+ years in-house GTM and/or G&A recruiting at a high-growth startup (Series A and beyond), ideally in a technical or deep-tech product environment

• Track record closing enterprise sales, partnerships, or revenue-leadership hires against better-funded competitors

• Hands-on experience hiring finance or compliance profiles (accounting, FP&A, controller, legal/compliance ops) or a credible plan for how you'd get up to speed fast

• Hiring in the US market, ideally NYC; exposure to EU hiring is a strong plus

• High agency and ownership; operates as a full stack recruiter

• Direct and commercially honest with both candidates and hiring managers

• Detail-obsessed on pipeline hygiene and weekly metrics; treats the ATS as a source of truth

Location: 5 days a week based in our New York office

Compensation Range: $600 - $800 day rate

You'll work alongside researchers and builders who hold themselves to a very high bar - in the quality of their work and in how they work with each other. We move fast and still take the time to do things right.

Our teams are based in Berlin, Freiburg, and New York - when you're working on something as hard as TabPFN, being in the same room matters. But great people come from everywhere, and in exceptional cases we're open to remote, which usually means frequent travel to one of our offices. Wherever you're based, the whole company comes together regularly for offsites to build and celebrate together.
