Contracts Manager

Locations: New York, NY | Waltham, MA | Hybrid

This role reports to the Associate General Counsel in the London office. An integral part of the Intralinks Legal Team, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills acting as an enthusiastic and effective liaison between Intralinks’s business units and our internal and external clients. The Intralinks’ Legal Team consists of 13 attorneys, contract managers and contractor administrators in the United States (4), Europe (4), Singapore (2) and Hyderabad (3).

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Interact with sales team managers and employees at the company’s North American and Latin American regions.
  • Collaboratively work with other legal team members from the EMEA and APAC regions as well as the legal operations team to share perspectives, provide guidance and develop best practices for the Intralinks legal team.
  • Negotiate and provide guidance on negotiations of commercial agreements, non-dis‐closure agreements and other technology and business agreements with customers and suppliers.
  • Coordinate negotiations with Sales, Finance, Security and other departments.
  • Develop and support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements, non-standard provision approvals, policies and legal processes, as well as localized forms and contracts.
  • Provide education and training of sales force and other staff on legal and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Handle other job-related duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.
  • Proactively contribute to any opportunity to improve the company’s legal and business operations.

What You Will Bring:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • 2-3 years of experience negotiating commercial contracts
  • Familiarity with SaaS/Cloud technology companies and agreements
  • Spanish fluency would be a significant plus.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills and ability to gracefully handle pressure from internal clients.
  • Superior writing and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests, as well as collaborating with others to utilize resources and knowledge of others in identifying high quality solutions
  • Excellent planning skills, ability to effectively manage priorities for self and team to meet business requirements and deadlines in dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to work on site a minimum of 6 days/month

NY: Salary range for the position: $82,000 USD to $130,000 USD.
