Key Accountabilities
Develop and implement contract management strategies aligned with the broader business
objectives.
• Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and execution of client and vendor contracts, including
framework agreements, master service agreements, and statements of work.
• Enhance the structure and governance of business unit contracting to improve consistency, clarity,
and scalability.
• Standardize contract templates, approval workflows, and commercial terms to reduce cycle times and
risk.
Process Automation and Continuous Improvement
• Drive the automation of contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes, including intake, review,
approval, execution, and renewal.
• Identify opportunities to streamline contracting workflows through system enhancements and digital
tools.
• Partner with IT, Legal, and Procurement Operations to implement and optimize contract
management systems.
Analytics, Reporting, and Business Insights
• Develop and generate analytics on contracting processes to support accurate quoting, improved lead
times, and capacity planning.
• Establish reporting dashboards and key performance indicators for department leaders, providing
visibility into contract volumes, cycle times, bottlenecks, and compliance.
• Use data-driven insights to recommend process improvements and support strategic decision-
making.
Supplier and Sta
keholder Management
• Act as the primary commercial interface with suppliers on contractual matters.
• Improve cross-department collaboration by aligning Procurement, Legal, Finance, Product, and
Operations on contracting requirements and timelines.
• Facilitate effective communication and governance forums to resolve issues and drive accountability.
Compliance, Risk, and Commercial Management
• Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Lead complex negotiations, manage variations and claims, and support dispute resolution.
Governance and Capability Building
• Establish and maintain contracting policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide training and guidance to business unit stakeholders on contracting processes, systems, and
governance.
• Support procurement governance initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
Key Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Real Estate, Finance, or related field (JD, MBA, PMP, or CPA
preferred).
• 5–8+ years of experience in real estate procurement, contract management, compliance, or
infrastructure asset oversight—preferably in the data center or technology sector.
• Proven experience managing complex projects and training cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of commercial real estate, colocation, and hyperscale data center agreements.
• Proven experience in procurement contract management within a complex or regulated environment.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating high-value, high-risk commercial contracts.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and resolving contractual disputes.
