tarte is hiring a Coordinator, direct-to-consumer generalist: a front-row view of every way we sell direct, from TikTok Shop to tartecosmetics.com. You’ll live in the data: what’s trending, what’s converting, what’s fraud, and what competitors are doing before we do it. You’ll build the reporting our CX & merch teams run on, track the beauty category on TikTok Shop, & work with nearly every team in the building. eCommerce moves fast, and it runs on relationships. You’ll build a lot of them.

This one’s for someone entrepreneurial who’s energized (not rattled) by ambiguity, asks a ton of questions, and reads a room well. If you love beauty, love TikTok, and love data. Come get in the mix.
●Own the numbers. Maintain CX performance reporting: contact volume, CSAT, response time, resolution rate, channel metrics. Know how every metric is defined, calculated, and sourced.

● Watch the competition on TikTok Shop. Track what beauty brands are doing: pricing, promos, bundles, viral content, category rankings & surface what tarte should beat, borrow, or skip.

● Keep merch fed. Maintain the revenue documents the merch team runs on, including weekly WOW and YOY performance across all D2C channels, plus the monthly chargeback doc.

● Spot what’s off. Monitor CX, fraud, and eCommerce platforms for anomalies and shifts. Escalate discrepancies with the context people need to act on them.

● Stay ahead of fraud. Monitor our fraud prevention platform, handle exceptions and emerging patterns, and manage chargeback review and disputed transaction analysis.

● Build the decks. Prep monthly, quarterly, year-end, and ad hoc reporting. You own the accuracy, the structure, and the deadline.

● Answer the asks. Handle recurring data pulls from QA, product, and merch (complaint data by SKU, return reasons, product feedback) and mine customer feedback for themes worth fixing.

● Work across the building. Partner with marketing (brand, social, influencer, digital), finance, merchandising, product & logistics. Document fraud policies, decision logic, and escalation steps as you go.

Requirements

● an entrepreneurial mindset that is comfortable with ambiguity & always asking questions

● You LOVE beauty, especially color cosmetics

● 1–2 years of experience: internships count

● Experience leveraging AI to manage data & pull insights out of it

● Strong Excel or Google Sheets

● Comfortable pulling, synthesizing & validating data across platforms

● Meticulous with detail: you chase a discrepancy until it’s resolved

● A clear communicator who can explain data to people who don’t live in it

● Organized enough to juggle several recurring workstreams at once

Benefits
    • Salary range: $66,350-66,500(Compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill level, relevant work experience & education)
    • Medical, dental, vision, 401K plan & access to health & wellness programs
    • Paid vacation, holidays, summer Fridays, birthdays off, volunteer time & more
    • Makeup gratis, employee discount on tarte.com, team give back initiatives
    • Friendly, fun, creative & collaborative work environment
  • Tarte is an equal opportunity employer.
