Job Description

Overview:

The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for supporting David Yurman’s Social Media presence by scheduling, publishing, and monitoring content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The Social Media Coordinator will support the larger Social team execute ongoing social media strategies that increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth while ensuring content aligns with the company’s voice and marketing goals.

What You’ll Do/Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily scheduling and publishing across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube 
  • Ensure all content is deployed accurately, on time, and aligned with brand standards 
  • Maintain and update global content calendars on a weekly basis for cross-functional visibility 
    • Manage everyday communication with copy and creative teams directly 
  • Support the execution of global campaigns across all social platforms 
  • Communicate social updates and changes across Marketing teams in real time
  • Assist in developing social briefs aligned with marketing calendars and product launches 
  • Ensure proper tagging, collaborator setup, and platform-specific optimizations are implemented when scheduling via Emplifi
  • Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, and Creative teams to align social content with business priorities 
  • Engage with the social community through comments and direct messages 
  • Escalate customer inquiries and sensitive issues to Customer Care or internal stakeholders 
  • Conduct ongoing social listening to identify trends, cultural moments, and real-time opportunities for DY to join relevant conversations and support real-time posting opportunities
  • Support ad hoc reporting on campaign and talent performance and social activations for VP of Marketing Strategy and CMO. Some research includes:
    • Social sentiment 
    • Share of voice 
    • Trends and keywords 
    • Creative Performance
  • Leverage tools such as Emplifi and native platform analytics to gather insights 
  • Translate performance data into actionable insights and recommendations 
  • Identify opportunities to optimize content, timing, and formats 
  • Assist with financial and administrative processes to ensure seamless execution of projects and partnerships.
  • Spearhead creation of monthly report documents to share with leadership

Qualifications/Requirements

  • ]Minimum of 2 years work experience in social media (internships included)
  • Can-do attitude and ability to take initiative on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate ideas, both verbally and in writing, to influence and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

Location Tribeca, NY- Onsite

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Estimate Pay Rate: $30 - $32/hour
Base pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
