UTA seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Travel Services Coordinator to oversee daily global business travel operations. The main responsibility is supporting individual (transient) travel needs—such as flights, hotels, and ground transportation—for employees and clients, while also occasionally supporting group and event travel. This role involves providing high-level, concierge-style assistance to everyone within the agency, regardless of department or office location. The ideal candidate has a proven history of contributing to operational excellence in an international company and consistently offers ideas for system and process improvements.
The salary range for this role is $70,500 to $80,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
Deliver prompt and exceptional travel booking services for air, hotel, rental car, and ground transportation, working closely with our travel agency partners.
Assist employees with any travel inquiries, changes, cancellations, or issues that arise.
Make sure all bookings follow the company's travel policies and guidelines.
Review travel activity to ensure accuracy, policy adherence, and cost-effectiveness.
Provide backup assistance to the Groups Associate, including managing room lists and travel logistics.
Help keep travel documentation up to date.
Track travel expenses and prepare basic reports for internal teams.
Proactively identify and help set best practices for travel across the agency in collaboration with leadership.
Provide employee training on travel policies, procedures, and technology.
Use data, analytics, and direct feedback to suggest ways to improve service, pricing, and satisfaction.
Guarantee superior client service and fast results for all departments and locations, recognizing the need for local solutions.
Experience with online travel booking tools, corporate cards, and large group movements
Use strong communication skills to promote change and highlight the value of the travel program.
Support internal communications about travel tools, policies, and program changes.
Stay up-to-date with travel industry trends, vendor updates, and new features of booking tools.
What You Will Need
2+ years' experience in corporate travel, travel operations, hospitality, or a related field.
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
Familiarity with travel booking platforms and tools (e.g., Spotnana, Concur, or similar).
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for building relationships across a range of personalities and working effectively with people at all levels in a fast-paced environment.
Proven team player with experience on cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated, strategic, and results-driven, with a solid approach to problem-solving.
Highly organized and committed to a strong work ethic.
Knowledge of the entertainment industry is a plus.
Experience delivering training programs and processes for travelers is desirable.
