About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking candidates to join our CIB Banking COO Corporate Banking Office which drives business execution and strategy supporting the bankers and executives that lead our Corporate Banking industries across Financial Institutions, Banks, Consumer & Retail, Healthcare, Energy & Power, Industrials, and Technology Media Telecommunications. This is a hybrid role with some in office expectation.
In this role, you will:
Play a vital part in the day-to-day business management team. Core functions relate to strategy and analysis including: client prioritization, reviewing sales and performance metrics, and working on projects spanning Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Compliance, and other key business areas. The Associate role will collaborate with the Vertical/Product COO, front line bankers, Loan Supervision, and Group Executive. Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting COO and Group Head Executives in pipeline analysis, product metrics, initiative tracking, client or target research, project execution, and banker scorecards
- Researching and analyzing client information and data across multiple tools and platforms, including but not limited to: client profitability systems, treasury management & deposit tools, loan tracking systems, company hierarchy management, and Salesforce.com
- Assisting in running and preparing materials for industry and product planning client prioritization sessions
- Monitoring data accuracy and integrity within CRM pipelines and internal company hierarchy management platforms
- Balancing workload with peers, in the US and internationally, to deliver timely work products in the fast paced environment of Corporate Banking
- Strong skills in: project management, data analysis, problem-solving skills, financial business acumen, ability to integrate data/financial analysis into streamlined presentations, and knowledge or ability to learn key systems including Salesforce & other internal financial business intelligence reporting tools
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience working within Corporate Banking, Treasury Management, FX, Rates, or Investment Banking
- Global market awareness (company financial performance, currency, commodities, trade, equities, etc)
- Experience with customer relationship management systems CRMs (ie Salesforce.com)
- Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
- Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels - flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manipulate data sets (BI Tools, Pivot Tables, Macros)
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
- Ability to travel up to 5%
