Qualifications

The New York office of a top law firm  is seeking a general Corporate Associate with 4-6 years’ experience at an Am Law 100 law firm concentrating in the area of securities and, to a larger extent, mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have experience in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and leveraged buyouts, and in working with sellers, strategic buyers and private equity sponsors.  Skills should include conducting and supervising due diligence, drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and ancillary transaction documents and closing transactions. Experience with cross-border transactions a plus. Experience in securities transactions is also a plus.  Top academic credentials are required. Candidate must be admitted to the New York Bar.
