Job Description

A top rated law firm is seeking a mid level associate to join their Corporate and Securities practice group. 50 attorneys of the firm are ranked in 2014 edition, and the firm’s presence in the highly-regarded national attorney directory has more than doubled in the last five years.The firm is ranked among the country’s top 25 law firms for associate satisfaction. The firm also received its seventh consecutive perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Corporate Equality Index. This is the second consecutive year that the top rated firm has been recognized for environmental law in the Acquisitions International Legal Awards.

Qualifications

We are looking for a mid-level associate to add to a Corporate and Securities practice group. The firm offers challenging work, an entrepreneurial and collegial environment, and a unique opportunity to work with growing practice groups within the Corporate & Securities section. Their associates have the opportunity to work closely with our senior lawyers and corporate team supporting public and private companies in sophisticated business transactions throughout the country.

Responsibilities
The candidate would support the firm’s strategic mergers and acquisitions practice as well as the firm’s growing private equity practice.

Qualifications

  • Must have 4 to 6 years of significant mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity experience.
  • Must possess a strong academic background, as well as strong written and interpersonal skills, as well as solid analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
  • Be committed to excellence, teamwork and superior client service.
