About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire an Associate to join the Corporate Development team. This role will support the team in evaluating, planning, and executing organic and inorganic strategic initiatives across the company. The role includes working directly with senior leadership and will be pivotal in fostering long term growth at iCapital.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough, data-driven quantitative and qualitative analysis to support Corporate Development and Strategy initiatives and recommendations.
  • Serve as a key team member in the due diligence process for strategic M&A transactions, managing various workstreams from start to finish.
  • Drive the execution of acquisition integration activities across key business functions.
  • Perform detailed external market research to identify trends, gather competitive industry intelligence, and screen M&A opportunities.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of industry insights to support strategic analysis and decision-making.
  • Prepare and present executive-ready deliverables, including business plans, financial analyses, and industry assessments, with clear, actionable insights.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop, recommend, and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business lines to validate business and financial cases for strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with special projects supporting senior management's strategic goals and iCapital's overall business growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong intellectual interest in alternative investments, wealth management, and a passion for contributing to the growth of an industry-defining company
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, integrity, and an all-in mentality, consistently going above and beyond expectations
  • Energetic, team-oriented, and highly organized, able to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while meeting demanding deadlines
  • Previous experience in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment, preferably within financial technology, financial services, or a related industry
  • Exceptional ability to articulate opinions, write clear and concise strategic materials, and develop impactful presentations on investment opportunities and business recommendations
  • Highly collaborative, with a track record of working effectively across organizational lines and with key stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and building executive-level presentations
  • Experience working with alternative funds and familiarity with fund structures, operations, and valuation methodologies is a plus
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate development/strategy, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, corporate finance, or law

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).

We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
