About the Role

iCapital is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Vice President to join the Corporate Development and Strategy team. This key role will be instrumental in driving iCapital’s long-term growth by helping lead the evaluation, planning, and execution of both organic and inorganic strategic initiatives. Working directly with iCapital’s senior leadership, this role will help shape the company’s strategic direction and ensure the successful implementation of key initiatives across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth strategic research, synthesize findings, and present actionable recommendations on new business opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Lead rigorous, data-driven analysis, both quantitative and qualitative, to inform and shape Corporate Development & Strategy recommendations.
  • Drive idea generation and proactively source new M&A opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of the due diligence process for certain strategic M&A processes, managing multiple workstreams to ensure thorough analysis and informed decision-making.
  • Plan and execute acquisition integrations, ensuring alignment across business functions to achieve seamless operational success.
  • Foster a center of excellence for external market research, competitive intelligence, industry trends, and potential M&A or partnership opportunities across the organization.
  • Curate and manage the distribution of comprehensive industry insights, empowering teams across the organization to make data-driven decisions.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, business plans, financial analyses, and industry reports, effectively communicating complex findings to senior leadership both verbally and in writing.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and drive the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead special projects for senior leadership, directly supporting iCapital’s strategic business objectives.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate development/strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or private equity
  • Experience in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment; financial technology or financial services background is essential
  • Significant experience leading or supporting M&A, partnerships, and strategic negotiations.
  • Strong interest in non-traditional investments, wealth management, and building an industry-defining company
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and an all-in mentality
  • Quick learner, adaptable to new industries, business models, and shifting priorities
  • Deep understanding of KPIs and their role in strategic decision-making
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to create clear, impactful presentations and recommendations (strong PowerPoint proficiency)
  • Energetic, team-oriented, and highly organized with experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and collaborating with external partners (e.g., investment bankers, legal teams, consultants)
  • Solid interpersonal skills with success as an approachable collaborator at all levels of an organization
  • Experience with alternative funds, including an understanding of fund structures, operations, and valuation methodologies a plus

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $200,000 to $240,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).

We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
