HERE Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Development Manager to join our team in Chicago.


This role will be instrumental in supporting the company’s inorganic growth agenda through Partnerships, M&A, strategic investments, and long-term corporate strategy initiatives. The Corporate Development Manager will work closely with senior leadership to evaluate opportunities, execute transactions, and ensure successful integration to maximize value creation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Corporate Development Planning & Market Analysis
    • Conduct industry research, competitive benchmarking, and market trend analysis to identify inorganic growth opportunities.
    • Partner with executive leadership to assess new business models, geographic expansion, and diversification strategies.
    • Develop presentations and materials for the executive team, Board of Directors, and investment committees.
  • Partnerships & Investments
    • Serve as a program manager for key partnerships, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and continue to execute on common goals.
    • Evaluate and negotiate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and minority investments.
    • Structure commercial agreements that align with long-term business objectives.
  • Integration & Value Capture
    • Support post-merger integration planning and execution, ensuring financial, operational, and cultural alignment.
    • Track performance of completed transactions and report on synergy realization.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions
    • Lead financial modeling, valuation, and business case development for potential acquisitions and divestitures.
    • Manage end-to-end deal execution, including target identification, due diligence, structuring, and negotiation support.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations, HR, product) to ensure seamless execution.
Who are you?
  • Experience: 5–7 years of professional experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or corporate development.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Highly collaborative with strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with deep understanding of valuation techniques and transaction structuring.
  • Proven experience executing M&A transactions or strategic investments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with executive leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Fundamental understanding of the software and/or car manufacturing industry would be an advantage.

The expected base salary range for this position is $138,000 to $155,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as skills and experience. 

This position is also eligible for a target annual performance bonus, which is subject to company and individual performance.
