Job description
The Corporate Finance Intern will have an opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience and learn about various aspects of the Corporate Finance function at Ardian US.
Deepen their knowledge of accounting principles and standards
Support the Corporate Finance Team with various ad hoc accounting projects and tasks
Prepare reconciliations schedules for different accounts of the financial statements
Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flows forecasts
Assist with interim and year-end Audits preparations
Assist with preparation of financial exhibits and schedules for board presentations
Profile:
Recent graduate or in the process of completing a bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting – ideally in their Junior or Senior year
Must have completed introductory accounting courses and have a basic understanding of financial principles
Proficient with computers
Demonstrated leadership in work and/or academics
Required skills:
Have strong organization and time management skills with the ability to work without distraction
Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Must have a very high sense of rigor to prevent or correct mistakes that may occur in the process of working on accounting tasks
Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team.
Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others
