Job Description

Purpose for the role:

Drive profitable revenue growth and market share for Etihad Airways through the acquisition, development and retention of Corporate, TMC and Trade partnerships. The Sales Representative is responsible for building strategic business relationships, securing new business opportunities, negotiating commercial agreements and maximizing the performance of assigned accounts to deliver sustainable revenue growth while strengthening Etihad Airways' position as a leading premium airline.

Accountabilities

  • Identify, prospect and secure new corporate accounts that generate profitable, high-value revenue.
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies for an assigned portfolio of accounts to achieve revenue, profitability and market share objectives.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with corporate and trade customers to strengthen long-term business partnerships.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, incentive programs and partnership arrangements that deliver measurable business results.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to evaluate performance, address business needs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive premium revenue and enhance Etihad Airways' presence within assigned accounts through effective account management and customer engagement.
  • Analyze sales performance, customer activity and market intelligence to support commercial planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop customer-focused solutions that support commercial objectives and service excellence.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and account records through effective use of CRM systems, ensuring timely reporting and forecasting.
  • Represent Etihad Airways as a premium global airline at customer meetings, networking functions and industry events, strengthening brand awareness and commercial relationships.
  • Monitor competitor activity, industry developments and market trends, providing insights that support effective market positioning.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales, business development, account management, or related commercial experience.
  • Experience within the airline, travel, hospitality, or service industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel independently within the assigned territory.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
