Job Description

Great opportunity with a national law firm for a Corporate & Securities Associate with 3-5 years of public company and other securities experience. Ideal candidate should have substantial experience in public and private offerings, dealing with the regulators of such offerings and handling the ongoing reporting requirements for public companies. Experience in representing both issuers and underwriters would be beneficial, but there is a greater emphasis on issuer representation.

Qualifications

Additional qualifications should include:

  • Experience with corporate governance, tender offers, and joint ventures.
  • Strategic alliances and general corporate representations.
  • Candidates should possess a strong academic background and superior drafting and negotiation skills, possess the ability to take on significant responsibility for deal management and work product.
  • be diligent, proactive, detail oriented, supportive, and team oriented.
