This individual will lead high-impact initiatives, provide strategic and analytical insights to senior leadership, and partner across functions to advance the business's long-term growth, competitiveness, and operational effectiveness.

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.

Role Overview:
The Corporate Vice President of Strategic Initiatives will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the Retail Annuities (RA) business's strategic agenda. What You'll Do:
Lead Strategic Initiatives
- Lead or co-lead Retail Annuities initiatives such as new business model assessments, product or distribution strategy design, digital enablement programs, and operating model transformations
- Structure, manage, and deliver complex, cross-functional projects with clear ownership, timelines, and measurable outcomes
- Prepare high-quality executive materials and presentations to communicate recommendations, progress, and impact to senior stakeholders
Partner on Strategy Development
- Partner with RA leadership and the Strategy team to shape and evolve the business's long-term strategic direction in alignment with enterprise priorities
- Conduct analyses and synthesize insights on market dynamics, competitive positioning, distribution trends, and product opportunities to inform strategic decision-making
- Serve as a thought partner to senior leaders, bringing analytical rigor, structured thinking, and a forward-looking perspective to key strategic questions
Collaborate across functions
- Partner with key business functions (e.g., Product, Distribution, Operations, Marketing) to align and integrate strategic priorities
- Build strong relationships across teams to ensure coordinated execution and alignment on strategic outcomes
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to business leaders to inform critical decisions that impact growth, profitability, and operational efficiency
What You'll Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate development, or business transformation, ideally within financial services or insurance
- Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives or business transformations from concept through execution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex issues and synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
- Strong business judgment, strategic curiosity, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrixed environment
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
