Location Designation: Hybrid - 1 day per week
Role Overview:
We are seeking a senior analytics leader to serve as the primary owner of how Purchase Experience (PX) performance against its Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) is defined, measured, and communicated. This role is responsible for governing and communicating the metrics that inform leadership's understanding of operational performance across new business and underwriting.

The role requires executive presence, independent ownership of recurring leadership reporting, and the ability to translate complex operational data into clear, insight-driven guidance.

What You'll Do:
OKR & Performance Ownership
• Serve as the primary owner of PX OKRs and core operational performance metrics
• Translate qualitative business objectives into measurable frameworks with clear definitions, thresholds, and governance
• Provide structured updates on key PX initiatives, linking program activity to measurable performance outcomes
• Maintain metric integrity and consistency across reporting cycles, including documentation of logic, assumptions, and changes
• Support underwriting modernization initiatives (including morbidity and model evaluation efforts) by defining and tracking performance metrics that assess operational impact and outcomes
• Proactively identify trends, risks, and emerging performance issues
Executive & Leadership Reporting
• Lead the development and delivery of recurring monthly PX performance materials for senior leadership forums
• Present insights focused on trends, drivers, trade-offs, and implications
• Confidently field leadership questions regarding performance movement, assumptions, and data limitations
• Anticipate potential areas of concern and prepare supporting analysis as needed
Insight & Business Partnership
• Partner closely with Underwriting, Operations, and Product leaders to ensure performance measurement reflects operational reality
• Guide stakeholders in interpreting performance data responsibly and consistently
• Provide structured, data-driven recommendations when performance deviates from expectations
• Develop and refine underwriting performance analytics across Life, LTC, and IDI, including cohort-level segmentation and comparative performance insights where relevant
• Lead targeted ad-hoc analyses and deep dives that inform executive decisions, while maintaining disciplined ownership of core reporting priorities
Dashboard & Data Stewardship
• Own and maintain dashboards supporting PX OKRs and performance metrics
• Independently source, validate, and analyze complex operational data using SQL and BI tools (e.g., Tableau)
• Ensure reliability, usability, and sustainability of reporting infrastructure
• Partner with IT and data platform teams to strengthen data governance and reduce single points of failure
Subject Matter Leadership
• Develop deep expertise in PX operations and new business data over time
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for performance-related inquiries and investigations
• Build credibility through sound judgment, clear communication, and consistent ownership
What You'll Bring:
Experience & Background
• Demonstrated experience owning executive-facing reporting materials
• Experience translating ambiguous or qualitative objectives into structured, quantitative measurement frameworks
• Experience operating in operational, underwriting, or process-driven environments preferred
Technical Capabilities
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards in BI tools such as Tableau
• Comfort working with imperfect or evolving data while maintaining analytical rigor
• SQL proficiency with the ability to independently source, validate, and manipulate operational datasets
Leadership & Communication
• Executive presence and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities while maintaining accountability and quality
• High judgment and comfort operating with independence in a visible, leadership-facing role
