What You’ll Do:

CoreWeave is seeking a talented commercial counsel to join our team in New York to support Weights & Biases at a time of rapid growth and transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in a leading-edge technology company and contribute directly to our growth. 

The successful candidate will partner closely with internal business teams on a broad variety of transactional and other business matters. You will report to Managing Counsel, Weights & Biases Commercial and work closely with colleagues across the US, EMEA and APAC. 

About the role:

  • Review and negotiate SaaS and software licensing agreements with enterprise customers, working closely with Sales, Finance and Product to drive deals to closure;
  • Review and negotiate a wide range of other commercial agreements, including data processing, professional services and partnership agreements, working with stakeholders across the organization;
  • Implement and improve policies, templates and processes to manage legal and business risk on a global scale.

Who You Are: 

  • JD degree and a member of a U.S. state bar in good standing;
  • 3+ years of combined legal experience in-house and/or at a law firm, with primary focus on commercial and technology transactions;
  • Substantive knowledge of SaaS and software licensing agreements;
  • Working knowledge of GDPR and Privacy Laws;
  • A track record of closing complex commercial agreements.

Preferred: 

  • Experience supporting a VC-backed technology or high-growth technology company;
  • Ability to identify and address data protection issues in commercial transactions.

The base salary range for this role is $122,000 to $179,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
