Job Brief

AirOps is looking for a “cracked” growth operator** to take on special projects that sit at the intersection of product, marketing, and distribution. This role is for a high-velocity experimenter who thrives on building new systems for growth, manufacturing word-of-mouth at scale, and finding non-traditional channels that others overlook.

Your north star: engineer growth that compounds. From designing product-led plays and referral engines to orchestrating breakout campaigns and building AI-first growth systems, you’ll take big swings and ship fast iterations to unlock net-new pipeline.

You’re the person that finds and executes the play that moves the metric — fast.

This is not a traditional channel management role. It’s a seat for someone who wants to invent the playbook — testing, hacking, and building the kind of growth engine that will define what best-in-class looks like in 2030, not 2020.

Responsibilities
  1. Engineer Word-of-Mouth at Scale

    • Design and launch programs that turn users into advocates through referrals, affiliates, and activation plays.

    • Build a marketplace-style experience that makes sharing and distribution easy, rewarding, and repeatable.

  2. Drive Product-Led Growth (PLG) Experiments

    • Partner with product/design to ship lightweight growth features that create shareable value and generate leads.

    • Develop public-facing assets and recurring value-delivery mechanisms that keep users engaged and amplify distribution.

  3. Run the Experimentation Drumbeat

    • Prioritize and execute 1–2 growth experiments per week across product, marketing, and distribution.

    • Move fast: test, learn, kill what doesn’t work, and scale the winners into durable programs.

  4. Architect High-Leverage Campaigns

    • Create and manage growth campaigns that combine sharp targeting, creative distribution, and rapid iteration.

    • Use unconventional and non-traditional channels to break through noise and reach the right audience.

  5. Build AI-Native Growth Systems

    • Use AI and build tools to accelerate insights, personalization, and experimentation velocity.

    • Develop playbooks and systems that push growth toward what “best-in-class” will look like in the years ahead.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years in growth, product, or hybrid operator roles in high-growth B2B SaaS or startup environments (OR you’re just getting started but want this to be true)

  • Proven track record of running non-traditional plays that drove pipeline or user adoption

  • Comfort with both building (experiments, tools, scrappy campaigns) and analyzing (CAC, payback, SQLs/Opps, funnel metrics)

  • Hands-on experience with modern GTM tools like Clay, Smartlead, AirOps, or similar

  • Ability to code in Python or similar (for scraping, automation, lightweight data analysis, or stitching systems together)

  • Strong bias for action: thrives in ambiguity, ships fast, and iterates relentlessly

  • Excellent storytelling and influence skills — can pitch bold bets and rally stakeholders to support them

  • Bonus: experience in product-led growth, marketplace dynamics, or affiliate/rev-share models

Our Guiding Principles
  1. Extreme Ownership

  2. Quality

  3. Curiosity and Play

  4. Make Our Customers Heroes

  5. Respectful Candor

Benefits
  • Equity in a fast-growing startup

  • Competitive benefits package tailored to your location

  • Flexible time off policy

  • Parental Leave

  • A fun-loving and (just a bit) nerdy team that loves to move fast!
