About this opportunity 

MillerKnoll’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, 12-week opportunity that provides a 100% real-world experience for students early in their careers. Throughout the summer you will apply academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

This internship offers hands-on experience in project coordination, cross-functional collaboration and campaign execution within a dynamic marketing environment. The role will be responsible for assisting the Creative and Marketing Project Management Team by shepherding projects and creative deliverables through our MillerKnoll brands using our PM tool: Wrike, maintaining project timelines and the project management process across all deliverable types, including seasonal brand campaigns, in-store collateral, digital projects and social media

What You'll Do

  • Support the Project Management Team by keeping various projects across the MillerKnoll brands on time and on track in Wrike, our P.M. software tool, adjusting timelines as needed and communicating any changes immediately to cross-functional partners. 
  • Support Cross-functional teams (creative, digital, content production, merchandising) with anything needed from those teams to keep projects on track. 
  • Attend marketing kick-off meetings to intake briefs, organize and assign projects and update timelines in accordance with each brand Project Manager. 
  • Develop dashboards and reports in Wrike in support of the design, editorial and content production teams. 
  • Proactively conceive of, define, and develop process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity across Creative and Marketing Project Management.

What You Bring 
The needed skills and experience for this role include..

  • Experience working with or on a team in a complexed and fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of Retail or Brand Marketing and the content these teams produce. 
  • Digital-first mindset with a solid understanding of eCommerce, email and social media  best practices. 
  • Good written and verbal and communication skills. 
  • Proactive, self-starter with a relentlessly optimistic attitude. 

Education

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business or a related field
  • You must have a GPA of at least 3.0 (overall or within your program) to qualify for consideration in the Intern Program.

Qualifications 

  • Must be authorized to work in the US and will not require sponsorship now or in the future. 
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations

A starting compensation range for this role is $21.00 - $23.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
