Forbes is seeking a highly-motivated Creative Strategist, Emerging Media & AI to join our Integrated Marketing team. This role will report directly to the Executive Director of Sales Enablement within the Integrated Marketing team. In this role, the Creative Strategist lives at the intersection of cutting-edge design, brand strategy and AI innovation. This role demands a creative thinker with a strategic mind, fluent in emerging design formats, deeply knowledgeable about building brands, and an expert in how artificial intelligence is transforming media, marketing, and narrative storytelling.   

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Integrated Marketing team to create engaging marketing materials across digital, live event, print, research, newsletters and social platforms.
  • Develop forward-thinking brand strategies that blend creativity, technology, and culture to help streamline deliverables, workflows and collaboration
  • Lead the integration of new design formats (immersive, interactive, generative) into strategic programs and proposals.
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Canva, Figma) and technologies (e.g., generative AI, personalization engines, predictive analytics) to shape innovative brand experiences.
  • Partner closely with marketing, design and product teams to ensure strategic alignment across all initiatives.
  • Conduct deep market research to identify trends and new opportunities at the intersection of media, design, and AI.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for content marketing proposals and programs.
  • Create compelling presentations and storytelling deck formats that communicate complex strategies in concise and engaging experiences.
  • Act as an internal thought leader on emerging technologies, design innovation and brand-building best practices.

The ideal candidate

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy roles across media, design, or brand agencies.
  • Proven expertise in AI applications for media, marketing, or design (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, ChatGPT, Sora, ElevenLabs).
  • Strong background in brand development, brand architecture, and multi-channel storytelling.
  • Experience in new and emerging design platforms and formats
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing strategic thinking across innovative formats and technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for content, media and digital storytelling.

The annual base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000
