Job DescriptionMcIntosh is seeking a Customer Service Representative for the Parts Department to support customers, dealers, and distributors with spare parts orders and inquiries. This role is responsible for receiving, processing, preparing, and shipping replacement parts orders while providing professional and timely customer service by phone, fax, and email.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a customer-facing environment. Familiarity with consumer home audio electronics, electrical components, or mechanical parts is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and process incoming spare parts orders by phone, fax, and email.
Assist customers, dealers, and distributors with replacement parts inquiries.
Collect, prepare, package, invoice, and ship spare parts orders.
Prepare shipping documents and ensure order accuracy.
Provide timely and professional customer support regarding parts availability, order status, and related questions.
Maintain accurate records, files, and order documentation.
Support inventory control activities, including tracking parts and assisting with stock accuracy.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve customer or order-related issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of experience in customer service, retail, parts sales, or a related field preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows-based systems.
Ability to accurately process orders and maintain detailed records.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge or familiarity with consumer home audio electronics is a plus.
Familiarity with electrical and mechanical components is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and handle parts and packages as needed.
