The Role
The Account Strategist will closely follow the latest trends within the digital advertising space as it relates to our key clients and stakeholders. This person will play a key role in understanding client and internal team goals, developing research agendas and applying research insights to client projects. Additionally, will need to work closely with our marketing team to create industry specific content including blog posts, reports and client facing narratives.
What You’ll Do:
- Work within our Ad Ops team to support our largest accounts with market and business research, reporting, and writing.
- Utilize a framework to track and monitor industry and market trends.
- Research and provide relevant consumer insights from research to present to key advertisers.
- Identify and understand macro-level industry trends and their impact on our largest advertisers
- Research financial data and corporate earnings reports to assess shifts in marketing strategy for global brands.
- Assess strategic relationships and develop narratives for growth on key accounts in relationship to the advertising industry
- Provide judgement and create analysis to solve problems and help our Ad Ops team develop new, innovative solutions.
- Develop relevant content based on industry research for publication and use by our Advertiser Sales team.
- Support ad hoc content requests.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant research and industry experience
- Ability to understand and translate financial reporting and industry trends
- Use relevant research and industry knowledge to inform client strategy
- Exceptional writing and verbal skills to communicate a clear strategic direction
- Cross-team functionality, client facing, and ability to communicate with C-level stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time to meet aggressive deadlines
- Self-starter who can work independently
- Ability to think critically and strategically
- Ability to present strategy for C-level consumption
